Someone in Spout Off today denounced Hilary Clinton as a communist.
Please. She’s not even a socialist.
Nixon proposed bigger welfare programs than anyone currently running for president has suggested. And he sure as heck wasn’t a socialist.
The trouble is, “socialist” has become a label applied to anyone who proposes any government aid/welfare program, much the same way “fascist” has become a term for “Someone who tells me stuff I don’t want to do.”
