Sexism: Still acceptable?

Despite some of the racist comments I listed earlier this week, I cannot imagine a mainstream political commentator saying “One day a black man will be worth electing to the White House—but not this one.”
Of course, as echidne has observed, Sullivan has written more than once that women’s biology makes them unable to compete with men in politics, so one wonders why he’d feel the need to argue against Clinton, since she’s clearly doomed by her gender.
