Destin is proclaiming a DMS CHeerleaders Day for their win at nationals. So we have a lot of cheerleaders flocking in the lobby while the council debates legal strategy in a lawsuit by former city clerk Dana Williams over her firing in 2006.

This will be the last meeting for Cyron Marler, Ted Corcoran and Larry Williges, since the changeover to the new council takes place before the March 17 meeting. Everyone’s in a good humor, debating travel plans, the prospect of serving on City Committees, old war stories and such (that was all before the closed Executive Session started of course).
