So how long will we be tonight? Any thoughts?
It could run long. The new councilors will probably have questions, I know Dewey has strong opinions and plenty of harbor business representatives and developers will want a say. And after all, it’s a big issue that will really affect Destin’s look, and who knows what else. So longer might be better for the city than shorter (regardless of how it affects those of us in the room at the time).
I’m betting two-three hours, which is not that long, but would certainly allow lots of discussion for a single-issue session. But I’m prepared to be proven wrong (I frequently am on this point).
