Because he’s doing a roaring business in Sandestin as people realize they can’t book carts in Destin.

Debbie Bodenstein is up next. She’s a Destin resident. “We need to think multi-modal. We’ve got paths for bicycles and rollerbladers, we don’t want to go on those paths with golf carts but multimodal is how we need to think … if people go slower than 25 mph, that’s alright.” It has the advantage over bicycles of being a two-person transport, and taking much less energy for short trips than a car. “I don’t see it any more detrimental or dangerous than some bicycles that are out there.”
