The commenter Pat, in response to my Ron Hart post: “Frasier you are a dope. You have no idea how business works and how little your opinion matters.”

That would be an incredibly effective argument except that you completely omitted the argument—you know, the part where you explain how business works and how my blog posts are clearly wrong. Because “you are a dope” really doesn’t cut it.

Of course, since I’m right and Hart isn’t, proving the opposite would be (to put it mildly) difficult, so perhaps I’m setting the bar too high.
